If you want to use Namecheap email forwarder then you must use Namecheap BasicDNS. Namecheap email forward will not work if you use another nameserver.

  1. First things first: Make sure you have followed the first steps in Connect Your Custom Address and you have your ThriveDesk Inbox Address ready.
  2. From your Namecheap dashboard, click on Domain List in the left sidebar menu.
  3. Click on the domain you'd like to modify and click on the Manage button.
  4. Go to Advanced DNS menu select Email forwarding from the dropdown of Mail Settings.
  5. Scroll down to the Redirect Email section, and click on the Add Forwarder button.
  6. Enter your alias (for example, for help@acme.com, you'd type in help) into the Alias field, and paste the ThriveDesk email address into the Forward To field. Click the green checkmark to save your changes.
